Connecting Cockburn Cement’s Community online

We recently created and launched the Cockburn Cement Community website, specifically designed to assist the company fulfil its commitment to building positive relationships and fostering open communication with the local community around its Munster Plant.
The website is part of a much broader community engagement strategy for Cockburn Cement, which includes a range of activities to improve communication and relationships with its surrounding community, which has trebled in size in the past decade.
The website uses the Umbraco content management system to allow Cockburn Cement to regularly publish updated information on their latest community partnerships, environmental improvements and licencing and compliance. Website visitors can also register for an e-newsletter via a subscription function, enabling Cockburn Cement to develop direct and regular communications with their stakeholders.
