
Hall & Prior website 2010
Brief: Hall & Prior is a residential aged care provider operating 13 homes in Western Australia and six in New South Wales. Clarity was engaged to establish a central marketing communications function within the organisation and create the tools and processes required to support the new role.
Solution: The project involved internal collaboration between Clarity's public relations, graphic design and Internet teams.
Clarity worked closely with each of the individual homes to identify current activities and needs in order to define a marketing communications role.
Key managers across the organisation were involved in the development of a new website and brochures to ensure familiarity with marketing objectives and accuracy of information. An internal communications tool was also established to strengthen links between the corporate office and the individual homes.
The website was created with families looking for aged care in mind, offering simplified information and useful features to help guide people through the process of choosing a suitable home.
Results: A marketing communications role and framework for future activity was successfully set up within Hall & Prior and Clarity helped recruit a professional to fill the role.
Positive working relationships were developed between internal stakeholders and the marketing role through ongoing consultation. To further engage staff across the organisation with corporate objectives and activities, a regular internal CEO's communication was established using Clarity's Mail Manager system.
The new website effectively promotes each of Hall & Prior's homes and includes simple steps and resources for people who are accessing aged care.
Clarity also created brochures for individual homes that assist managers who directly promote the homes to the local community and reinforce corporate branding.
