
Brief: After many years with the same corporate identity, refresh the MDA National's brand to increase the organisation's presence in the medical indemnity sector.
Solution: Clarity identified that the MDA
National name needed to be more prominent in its marketing material
and the logo needed to lose some of the symbols traditionally
associated with medical organisations. The medical symbol of the
staff of Asclepius was abstracted to develop a symbol for the logo
that represents growth and renewal. Finally a much greater use of
colour was included in the MDA National brand to create 'cut
through' in all visual communication.
Results: The new identity and supporting graphics speak with a louder and clearer voice to give the MDA a stronger presence in a highly competitive market.
