Brief: Create a visual identity for the newly established peak body for Aboriginal art centres in Western Australia - the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub WA. The logo was required to incorporate a reference to the seven art centres which are represented by the organisation, with a strategy to add new members over time.
Solution: The logo and supporting collateral draw from the art of mark making, whilst the square shape references art on a wall. The names of each of the art centres have been intermingled together to create a cohesive whole. The mark was rendered by hand and, instead of traditional offset print, was created as a rubber stamp that the organisation can use to brand their collateral.
Results: The new identity has given the team at Aboriginal Art Centre Hub WA a strong, recognisable brand to work with as they seek to increase the profile of the newly established organisation.
