The Population Health Research Network (PHRN) is an important national collaboration that enables existing data from around Australia to be brought together in privacy-preserving ways and made available for approved research purposes.

Researchers are an important primary audience group for PHRN; they must be kept up-to-date on changes to available health data, data access processes and news about the Network’s operations. Similarly, it is important for PHRN to act as an easily accessible resource for members of the general public seeking to understand more about data collection and research uses of collected data in Australia.

Clarity has worked closely with the PHRN program office in Perth for a number of years, creating resources to support the Network and promote its activities to both of these audiences.

Work completed in the early days of the partnership included Clarity’s design of PHRN’s branding, and the original PHRN website.  Clarity has since developed an extensive range of materials for PHRN including videos, presentations, display materials, flyers and other printed collateral, along with designing the Network’s annual reviews for a number of years.  

In 2019, PHRN celebrated its tenth anniversary. Clarity developed a strategic activity plan for promoting and celebrating this milestone; created video content to promote PHRN’s major achievements in its first 10 years to researchers at a series of conferences; and undertook a re-design of the PHRN website to refresh the Network’s online visual presence.

Clarity is proud to assist PHRN to communicate its important work and outcomes to audiences across Australia.
