Since its inception in 2003 (entering the market as Ocean to Outback Electrical) the business had experienced exponential growth across WA and nationally.
After listing on the stock exchange, it undertook an aggressive national growth strategy, with the acquisition of seven highly respected businesses in the surveying industry.
The Board decided to rename and rebrand the organisation to project the new direction, adding shareholder value as well as marketing strength when working with national clients.
To create a strong and cohesive brand that re-positioned the publicly-listed business as a leading surveying, urban design and town planning business.
After substantial stakeholder research, we worked with the business to develop a set of brand values that reflected the current culture of the business.
The name Veris was chosen for its Latin origins – meaning truth and accuracy. The business specifically wanted one word that represented its values as a professional services company.
We created a sophisticated visual identity, using a monochrome palette with vibrant accent graphics, which was rolled out through all digital assets, promotional and internal collateral.
We also developed a broad stakeholder engagement plan to ensure clients, suppliers, staff, industry bodies and investors were aware of the impending change.
The finished project is a sophisticated brand that reflects the trusted reputation Veris is building. It now serves as a solid communications platform for the company to continue to grow.
