Clarity has worked with Wesfarmers for the last four years to produce their Annual Report and Sustainability Report. Over this time the reporting has evolved to reflect the brand and the business leadership. It also encompassed a more digital approach to reporting.

In 2018 this working partnership was acknowledged with an AIRA Award (Australasian Investor Relations Association) for “Best Use of Technology for Investor Communications by an Australasian Company”. According to the judges, Wesfarmers won this award for “presentation of historical financial and other information is all in one place, digitally available and downloadable”. This award highlights the exceptional work that has been done on three core projects – the Annual Report, the online Sustainability Report and the corporate website.We invested heavily in stakeholder research to determine investor needs.

These findings refined our thinking about the structure of the
digital assets and informed our design.

The Australasian Investor Relations Awards recognise listed entities that have excelled in Investor Relations over the year. Winners are determined based on voting from domestic and international equities analysts and fund managers. They demonstrate best-practice reporting across Australian and South East Asia. Other winners included CSL Limited, Amcor Limited, Transurban Group and Macquarie Securities.
