Western Australia’s only film studio complex has recently been developed on a publicly-owned site to attract Australian and international productions and establish the state as a serious film production destination. With the studios forming part of the State Government’s ambitions to diversify the WA economy and serve global streaming services and gaming companies meant the project carried economic, political and community expectations before film any production had even commenced.

Clarity’s scope involved stakeholder and community engagement around the development, government relations support given the State-owned land, approvals communications through the development approval process, and media strategy for the project launch.
