IGO
Corporate communications for an ASX-listed critical minerals producer
Australia
IGO Limited is an ASX-listed company focused on battery metals, with an interest in the Greenbushes lithium mine and Kwinana lithium hydroxide refinery – held through its Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia JV with Tianqi Lithium (Greenbushes is also co-owned with Albemarle) – and the Nova nickel-copper-cobalt operation.
Clarity has supported IGO’s corporate reporting and broader stakeholder communications since 2017, working alongside the business through significant strategic change, including its transition from Independence Group to IGO and its repositioning as a diversified, future-facing miner aligned to critical minerals and the energy transition.
As IGO’s strategy and portfolio evolved, its communications needed to evolve with it. Clarity has managed and produced IGO’s Annual and Sustainability Reports, ensuring financial, governance and ESG disclosures present a clear, integrated picture of how the business creates value and manages risk in a highly scrutinised ASX environment.
Through this partnership, Clarity has developed familiarity with the expectations placed on ASX-listed critical minerals producers including governance discipline, joint venture dynamics and investor scrutiny in the energy transition space.
Clarity has supported IGO with media and government relations activities associated with its project developments such as the Stockman Project in Victoria and the Nova Operation in Western Australia.
